Now this is a truly inspired dinner idea and Manu deserves praise for it. However, since i was the one that executed it, that pat on the back belongs to me!
Here's what one needs:
Chicken/Mutton Biryani Leftovers
Sandwich bread
Grateable cheese - something sharp
Butter/Spread
Salt
Sandwich toaster (toastie maker)
1. De-bone the chicken or shred the mutton/beef from the Biryani, sprinkle some salt and give the rice and meat mixture a good stir. Make sure to pull out any whole spices (cinnamon, cardamom etc..). Heat the Biryani in the microwave for 2mins on medium power.
2. Butter the slices of bread and spoon some of the Biryani on to one slice. Grate some cheese over the Biryani. Top this with a slice of bread and press down on the sandwich to flatten it a bit.
3. Stick the sandwich in the toaster and toast it for about 2 mins for medium done and 5 minutes for burnt-to-a-crisp.
et voila! We ate it with Heinz 'kickrs' ketchup.

My first blog!
I really should be doing something else. I had a whole list of things to do today and I've only accomplished a few so far. One big task on the list needs me to use the computer and therein lies my problem - i lack focus!!! So here i am with visons of grandeur for my blogspot when i really should be doing something else. Not the sort of auspicious beginning i was hoping for.
Its a hot day today and I'm refusing to turn the aircon on instead sitting in the living room with my Midea brand fan blowing hot humid air into my face. It would help if my MacBookPro didnt run as hot as it does.
What are my plans for this blogspot? I'm not sure yet - i think I'll post some recipes.
